Math Club
Bell students excell in math, as demonstrated through our results in many of the contests we participate in. Bell High School's Math Club provides students with the opportunity to explore math outside of the curriculum and to develop a love of mathematics. We do interesting and out-of-the-box problems.
In addition, Math Club organizes students to participate in the various contests. For example, we participate in Math League contests for high school students, once a month, as well as the Waterloo contests and AMC contests.
New this year, Math Club members also help out the Math Medics, the math help at lunch program. We help to peer tutor other students who have trouble with math.
We meet every Friday in Rm 232 (math wing, of course).
Mission/Vision
To explore math outside of the curriculum, and prepare/participate in various contests. To encourage a love of all aspects of mathematics. To make math easier for people who struggle with math.
