Course Description

This course focuses on the development of a personalized approach to healthy active living through participation in a variety of sports and recreational activities that have the potential to engage students’ interest throughout their lives. Students will develop and implement personal physical fitness plans. In addition, they will be given opportunities to refine their decision making, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills, with a view to enhancing their mental health and their relationships with others.

This is the standard course for female students. See PPL4OQ for the male course.

This course is an open course, having one set of expectations and being appropriate for all students in a given grade. This course prepares students for more advanced classes in later years, or for a university, college or workplace setting. This course may not reflect a student's post-secondary goals, but are still relevant to everyone regardless of their post-secondary plans.
