General Information
This is a grade 12 course. This course is part of Business Studies, which at Bell High School is in the Math, Business and Computer Science department. Prerequisites: BAF3M.
Course Description
This course introduces students to advanced accounting principles that will prepare them for post-secondary studies in business. Students will learn about financial statements for various forms of business ownership and how those statements are interpreted in making business decisions. This course expands students' knowledge of sources of financing, further develops accounting methods for assets, and introduces accounting for partnerships and corporations.
This course is a university or college preparation course. This course will focus by giving students skills relevant to both university and college settings, and their associated careers. Both theoretical and application-based learning methods are used for the course content.
