General Information
This is a grade 12 course. This course is in the arts subject, which at Bell High School is in the Fine Arts department. Prerequisites: AMG3M.
Course Description
This course emphasizes the appreciation, analysis, and performance of music from the romantic period and the twentieth century, including art music, jazz, popular music, and Canadian and non-western music. Students will concentrate on developing interpretive skills and the ability to work independently. They will also complete complex creative projects.
This course is a university or college preparation course. This course will focus by giving students skills relevant to both university and college settings, and their associated careers. Both theoretical and application-based learning methods are used for the course content.
