General Information
This is a grade 11 course. This course is in the arts subject, which at Bell High School is in the Fine Arts department. Prerequisites: AMI1O or AMI2O.
Course Description
This course develops students' artistic knowledge and skills through the performance of music and the preparation of music productions. Students will perform appropriate works, particularly works in contemporary popular styles. Independently and in groups they will also plan, market, and produce music productions making use of appropriate technology and will evaluate the results.
This course is a university or college preparation course. This course will focus by giving students skills relevant to both university and college settings, and their associated careers. Both theoretical and application-based learning methods are used for the course content.
